We got some snow overnight so I tried to take advantage and get out to ski from the front door. It was borderline at times. The snow helped hide the ice on the trails underneath, but not well in some sections. Still it was a fun adventure.

Playing around in the park on the fresh powder. I wasn't ready in the morning otherwise I would have tried to ski in the park given the fresh snow, but I had to be home at a specific time so didn't want to waste more time waxing skies to get out the door.

So embarrassed from my princess episode yesterday I had to get out this morning. Nice run, but the snow isn't packed down yet on the trail so couldn't get into a flow the whole run. And by tomorrow it will probably be ice.

Aubrey had ski lessons tonight, but there's was very little snow out on the trails so K-Way and I decided to run. I was feeling pretty low on energy early on (still digesting dinner) so eventually I told her to run ahead while I just cruised (she was bragging later on about dropping me). Energy level came back near the second half though.

I wimped out on my run this morning and headed down to the basement instead to ride the bike. -21 with windchill when I would have been heading out. My ride into work later on was definitely cold.
