Double hockley run today.

Legs were pretty smashed going into this from the ride yesterday and the rest of the week so I had the mentality to treat it like the end of a long ultra. When I got there the parking lot was empty, after the first loop the lot was full. At the end of the run the lot was overflowing and there were a lot of cars parked on the road as well. Beautiful day out in the woods so I can see why it was so busy. Funny thing is other than a few people I passed at the start of my first lap I didn't really see anyone most of the run.

Felt pretty consistent the whole run. I was pretty tired at the end, but afterwards not as wiped out as I thought I'd be. Feeling good for my 100 miler in 2 weeks.

Rode ride with 2 guys from Christie. Nice ride overall. One of the roads we normally ride has been under construction all summer, but now the pavements down so it was a pretty sweet section to ride.

Strength 21:00 [1]

Got up early to ride the bike in the basement, but then Aubrey showed up at the top of the stairs at 5:30 ready to get up. Got her setup with some fruit and did some strength instead. Legs were pretty tired from basketball last night so found any leg work pretty tough to do.

Slept an extra hour so that hopefully I felt better given this cold we've all caught. Down to Bingeman's and back.
