Running long 4:39:00 [4]

Today we attempted to answer the question "is it better to train for a long run by running long distances or by doing pushups?"

Initial results on this study seem to point to the running being better training, but who knows, the test subjects really are a bit odd to begin with.

Really happy with my time today and how the race went. Felt strong throughout. With about 4 km to go I was running with another guy and decided to try and make a move on the downhill section. It worked and I held him off. My split for the second and third loop were almost the same which is also a positive sign.

last year before Oil Creek I made the comment "I'm as ready as I'm going to be". I don't th7nk I can make the same comment this year, but I'm out of time now and at least with the last few weeks I'm feeling like I can do this.

Running 1:20:00 [3]

Was supposed to be a bit longer, but I didn't eat enough before this run and had to head home early as I was starving and running low on energy reserves.

Running 2:00:00 [3]

After a long week in Kansas City and a busy weekend building in the backyard got out today for a run in Homer Watson.

legs were tired from all the patio stones I've lifted in the last 2 days, but still felt pretty good out there.
