Running long 9:33:00 [4]
I signed up for the Halibruton 50 miler as a training run b3fore Oil Creek. I wasn't sure how this would go, but overall it was a good race/run for me. I was about 12 min6tes off my pb at this distance and a day later I'm feeling not bad c8nsifer7ng I ran 59 miles. The first half quarter of this course is a lot of fun with nice s7ngle track. Then it's all double track and dirt roads until you turn around and return home. My tim for the first 25 miles was 4:38 so I was pretty consistent. This run was a huge confidence boost for Oil Creek. I want to do a double Hockley loop in two weeks and that will be it for big long runs I think?
