Warm up before the long.

Orienteering race 2:31:00 [4]

This went as well as I could expect I guess. I had real troubles with 1 and 2, but then seemed to get into a groove for the next couple. I tripped coming out of 16 and fell hitting my head and left quad on some rocks, which made running pretty hard after that. Ironic since this was one of the areas that was actually wide open. Did 3/4/5/6/7 really well and 17 and 18 as well.

This went pretty well up until 15 when I got caught running on the trails without being sure where I was. Ran right past 16 after that and had to back track. Good otherwise, not fast, but I knew where I was most of the time.

Thinking more about the race season next year.

If I have to do more solo stuff because I can't put a team together.

- Do a 8 hour solo MTB race.
- That snowgaine in NY they run every March looks very interesting.
- Go back to the Pig.
- Going down to CO to do one of those 24 hour AdventureXstream races solo.
- Go back to do the race in Quebec.
- I'd still like to also consider the RAID Pulse for this year.
- Odyssey runs a 250 Mile MTB race in September.

After waking up to thundershowers the last two mornings I left work early (7 pm) to go for a short run around the office before heading home.

Tried to go out for a light run this morning, unfortunately I didn't very far before a thunderstorm rolled in. I decided it wasn't the greatest idea to run beside a very open large body of water with all the lightening. So I went home.

Stretching 30:00 [1]

And did some stretching and core exercises.
