Read last night that Bechtel finally had enough snow to groom all the loop, so I packed up everything so I could be out there this morning bright and early. Nice enjoyable ski by headlamp this morning.

The trails around here are all icy with the rain on Saturday and I don't have spiked shoes anymore. Opted instead to ride the trainer, all about hill climbing today.

As always a lot of fun with Eddie doing the snowshoe RAID. We made the mistake of dropping CP1 in the matrix thinking that would save us some time, which it didn't. Ended up running with Wadd and Harps for a good chunk of the course.

As always a lot of fun out in the forest, I do love running on snowshoes.

Run with heavy pack. The side walks were nice and grippy since snow has frozen on top of the rain yesterday. The trail was hit and miss, but only one section where I had to walk around the ice for fear of going down.

Morning run in the mountains where I'm staying in Burbank. My boss joined me for the first bit, but turned around after 25 min near the first peak. I continue along the ridge for a while and then turned around followed the same path home.

Good hard run in the Verdugo mountain park.

Run with heavy pack. Pretty chilly out there today considering yesterday's run was -1 the whole time. Headed to the park to avoid any extra time on open roads. One of the those beautiful mornings where the sun is bright and there's no clouds in the sky. To bad the sun doesn't come up until after 7:30 so I still spend most of the time running with a headlamp.

Down the Grand to Lackner/Natchez woods and back. Great weather out there this morning, but my legs still feltvtired from the weight workout earlier this week. I'm feeling pretty good for the snowshoe raid in 2 weeks.
