A very fun race with EJ. We did really well on the snowshoe and came out behind Hammer and tied with Bob M. The ski went well, but we definetly had a did advantage to the skate skiers, but also an advantage, so it would seem over others who choose not to read the rules.

Thomass Caledon

A very good course set by Pete. I love the winter Thomass races once the snow falls because they are such a suffer fest running through the snow. With the mild temps the open areas were pure pain. Had a bit of trouble with F, but otherwise felt really good on the map the whole time.

Got tired of waiting for Audrey so headed out for a skate ski on my own. At first my balance was just terrible, but it felt like it got a lot better in the second half.

Headed up to Highlands Nordic with Kristen for the day. Just a great day to be out in the woods. Kristen and I went out for a short loop before Audrey was supposed to show up.

XC Ski (classic) 1:50:00 [3]

A longer ski after lunch with Eddie and Audrey while Kristen went out hiking on the snow shoe trail. We did a loop together and then dropped Audrey off at the chalet as she was done skiing and went out for another loop to wrap up the day.

A day out in the woods. The drive home had it's own excitement as something broke near the rad and we had to call a tow back to Georgetown. Good think for parents who feed you dinner and then lend you their car to get home.

Went for a run along the Grand River on my way to work.

As I ran under the highway into work I realized that this time last year I would have had to spend 2 hour driving along the 401 to get to work instead of doing this run. Such a great improvement.
