Spent the night in St. Catherines for my brother in law's wedding. Kristen had to attend a shower today so I was left to try to figure out what to do. Decided to just bike home to KW. Ride was ok except for the head wind basically the whole way home.

Orienteering race 23:00:00 [3]

CNYO Rogaine with Audrey. Was pretty excited going into this as this was my first rogaine and I really had no idea what to expect. Overall the race went really well considering this was our first time at such a beast. We seemed to spend about the first 15 hours bushwacking on the west side of the map, around midnight both of us were getting a little bored with the whole thing. Basically trekking in the woods, picking off controls without seeing anyone else. Around 3 am we came out to the second water stop and finally we had a mix of trails and woods for the rest of the race. I had to start planning out short cuts because there was no way we could do the whole map and finish in time. There's probably a few route choices I could have made better since we ended up finishing with an hour to spare and gotten ourselves a few more points. Also if we hadn't spent an extra 30 min running on the road after I missed an intersection we'd have had more time to get some extra points.

Ended up 2nd overall and 1st co-ed. The top three teams were all really close together.

Went out and ran the Hydro Cut trails. Legs were feeling sore afterwards from all the twisty ups and downs.

2 Sprint courses setup by Nick for the Stars championships. Nice map and a lot of fun running around the park.
