A very relaxing cycle with Kristen, we rode the rail trail down to Port Dover to meet some of her work mates for breakfast. On the way back I took her on the local trails for a spin.

Tuesday night intervals with Bender, 2 min on 1 min rest. We did 4 then took a bit longer break then did 3. On the last one I was pretty rough, but I tried my best to not let him catch me the second time up the hill.

Peak 2 Peak. Good run overall, got a bit off on my way to 5, but was able to relocate nicely, this probably broke my concentration too much giving trouble to 6. Otherwise the rest went quite well.

Went out exploring with my mountain bike in Simcoe this weekend. I ended up finding some fun trails right off the downtown area at the start of the rail trail. I spent some time eploring those (probably only 4/5 km in total), then road the rail trail to Port Dover and back. On the way back I did another lap on the trails. A great first ride in the area.

Easy ride along the waterfront before work. This was a lot of fun since roughly 75% was before the sun came up. Quite cool to ride through Toronto with hardly anyone else up in the dark.

Went out with Kristen to Burlington to run on Wednesday's training route. Felt good overall, although some of the rock was a bit treacherous up and down the hill.

My first cyclo cross race. Did this on my Trek hardtail with a set of thin tires. This was so much fun, you just kind of put your head down and hammer for 40 min, of course you had to also keep your eyes peeled for the barriers you had to run over and the set of stairs you had to run up, but overall loads of fun.

Out for a run along the waterfront. Quite warm at 7 in the morning considering it's October. Enjoying my life as a bachelor again, although I do miss coming home to find dinner already cooking.
