Rode from my house in T.O. to my parents place in G-town. Went via Isslington to Nashville then down Heatley Rd which becomes Olde School Rd. Then thru Glen Williams up to my parents place. Had to ride the MTB since the road bike is in the shop until I'm back.

Note

Was going to ride to work today, but when I went to grab the bike to go I found my front tire nice and flat. I think there's a small leak there, so got changed again and drove to work. Will have to repair this tonight for tomorrow.

Up Isslington, along Major Mac, then up Weston to Highway 9, then turn around and come home.

Pace was a little slow today, could be from the head wind I had the whole way home. Good to get out and get some KMs in.

3 different Eliminator sprints. First one was pretty crazy since it was just one big line of M-elite following Hans. I tried to do the lower 3 in the box slightly differently, but missed 'e' which didn't help.

Round #3 probably went the best for me. By this point you were basically doing all of them by yourself and I was really hitting the points.

Hill-O-Pain. One big hill climb where I increase the gear on the bike every 5 minutes. I was supposed to do this for 30 min, but at the 25 min mark I was either going to pass out on the bike or have a heart attack. Kristen really appreciated this workout as she sat on the couch watching T.V. wondering what was wrong with me.

Next time I need to start one gear higher, or just turn one of the 5 min time sections into a 10 min section.

Thomass in Hilton Falls. Race went pretty well, only had trouble with 'G', just over ran it a bit, but realized it right away and was able to back track pretty quickly. Too bad the nav wasn't tougher for this one. To much that you were able to do just running along the trail.

Started in Palgrave and ran back to Phatty's place. Feet really started to hurt with about 30 min to go. Overall good run, just hard to keep up with everyone.

My feet are still sore from the weekend, so I decided against running or cycling this morning. Legs aren't too sore, but still are tight. Decided to do the yoga video we have, which I have been slacking on for a few weeks.

What a beautiful morning, sun was just trying to peak through the clouds making for a very pleasant morning. This left me with a warm feeling in my heart which I feel will inspire me for the rest of the day. :)

Day two for the Snowgaine. I felt much better today, but Eddie's knee really started to hurt him during the second half, so we used a run/walk strategy for most of the roads. Ended up getting 100 more points today over day 1, which was pretty good.

Fun event, especially when you factor in the cost. Great group to travel with.

Day one of the Snowgaine in Cortland NY. We set a lofty plan to get half of the controls today, but in the end had to abandon near the later half. Eddie was doing pretty well, but I felt tired and sluggish for most of the day. I probably just wasn't eating enough. Snow was pretty sticky which made it a pretty hard slog.

A few days of rest before the next two weeks which are going to be pretty big. Snowgaine and Navstravaganza coming up. 16 and 8 hours weekends should be really good for MIX.
