Great race put on by Bob and GHO. Really loved the course and the snow was great in the woods. Tyson and I raced really well together and were pretty excited to pull off a 2nd place overall.

5 by 2 min, followed by 10 by 1 min. We ran on the road because my ankle was sore from yesterday and I didn't want to hurt it at all.

It should be noted that EJ kicked my butt during these intervals. Apparently his strategy of tapering for MNI is paying off.

I decided to bring my snowshoes tonight so that I could run in the deep snow at Betchel Park. Set a large loop on the fields and since I was breaking snow for a good part of the warm up this ended up being much tougher then a usual warm up.

This was really tough with the deep snow. Both EJ and I were suffering. 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1, 1 min off inbetween.

Out for a great ski after work in Waterloo. The snow was a bit icy which made for faster conditions, which is good because I haven't waxed these skies in a few years.
