Snowshoeing 1:10:00 [1]

Out with D, Bash and 5 dogs.
1 PM

XC Skiing 1:55:00 [3] 16.5 km (8.6 kph) +222m

South loop after the north was so fast Thursday.
Odd conditions- very grippy and slow in the open, fast.
I went hard in a few sections to see what Strava says but it mostly included my waiting times at the end of the sections, so AP moving time was several minutes faster per section.

Friday Feb 26, 2021 #

Snowshoeing 30:00 [2]

Out crust breaking with Bash and the boys.
9 AM

XC ski-Skate 1:24:00 [3] 20.48 km (14.6 kph) +1854m

Scenic with Gally, and parts with the ladies.

Thursday Feb 25, 2021 #

Snowshoeing 20:00 [2]

Crust-busting stomp with the dogs.
3 PM

XC Skiing 1:20:48 [3] 7.82 km (5.8 kph) +142m

Ski with Bash. Trails are hard and fast, and even the easier route we chose was tricky.

Wednesday Feb 24, 2021 #

XC Skiing 1:45:00 [3]

Pre-work ski with the dogs, then commute in soggy mashed-potatoes snow at 5c. Boots wet from post-holing when I take off my skis to cross roads.
Night ski home in blowing snow at -1 and icy conditions.

Tuesday Feb 23, 2021 #

XC Skiing 1:12:00 [3]

I was expecting a fast commute but yesterdays soft tracks melted, shrunk and froze narrower than my skis, so Palgrave West was slow grabby going while Palgrave East was quick skittering on hard crust.
Soft slow slog home.

Monday Feb 22, 2021 #

XC Skiing 1:10:00 [3]

Commute, breaking trail in deep powder to work, and heavy soft wet snow for the return.

Sunday Feb 21, 2021 #

10 AM

XC Skiing 2:07:08 [3] 15.27 km (7.2 kph) +336m

North West Passage with Bash. Yet another stellar day!
Skin skis were good, even though one iced up in the last sunny meadow.
