Winter wonderland run with the beasts in the Dingle and Haffy.

The big guy was extra bazinga as he hadn’t run for a while. I had him on the hands-free longline and ecollar, but he was terrible at first- I had to keep yelling at him to stay close. AD was also all over the place, then he dashed into the bush and came crashing out with 5 deer who blasted off. I figured that’s it for the off-leash big boy, but yelled “Sit”- and he planted his butt! He was quivering, but didn’t bolt. I never touched the line or e-collar. I put him on leash and he was nuts for a few minutes, but 20 min in he settled right down and we had the best hands-free run ever, with 2 well behaved dogs.

Not sure he’s ready for taking off the long line- he knows he’s trailing it.

Fall 50 party.
Chilly but perfect bluebird morning.
Biked down from North Albion to the South end to meet the gang (Goose, LD, Huey and Huey Jr, plus Scooby (who plans to loose 100 lbs, much of it today) coming up from Bolton, then back up to our place. Scooby’s first workout longer than 45 min in years! He is raising $ for an important cause too.

Hiking 1:30:00 [1]

Palgrave West hike + Charlevoix with a bigger gang as Crash, Mr. Huey, Bob, Shannon and Hank joined in. Scooby got harnessed to Bazingadog, so he set a serious pace.

Cycling 1:10:00 [3]

Bike down to Caledon East, with a significant bushwhack to avoid a closed bridge, then snacks and latte at the 4 corners. Crash and I headed back up the rail trail, while the rest bombed roads to Bolton.

Paddlng 1:00:00 [2]

Paddle down the Humber to Pops and Suzie’s place. As always, got odd looks portaging across the streets.

Running 25:00 [2]

Trot back with Coach LD to ready the repast.

I forgot my GoPro attachments on the bike, but got some handheld footage.
