Hiking 2:00:00 [1]

Hike to school, then met Bash for lunch and a trip to Mirror lake.
Not a bad end to a school day!

Pics on Bash’s log.

Hiking 3:50:00 [3] 20.0 km (11:30 / km) +1300m 8:41 / km
shoes: New Balance Leadville 3

Early hike up to Glacier point then Sentinel Dome in Yosemite before school. Spectacular way to start a 3 day dental course. Gorgeous day, clear skies except for smoke from forest fires.

The clouds moved in while we were up top, and we ran back down in mist and fog.

Running 52:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Caldera blue

Easy jog in with the big boy. We met the 2 farm dogs, but the big guy sent them packing, and they didn't stick around to say Hi.
Hamstring/glute thing sore from yesterday.
Easy run home until the deer showed up in Palgrave East.

Cycling 30:00 [3]

Quick 2-dog blast to make up for leaving the boys home all day when their play dates had to cancel.
10 AM

Orienteering race 1:38:21 [3] 13.46 km (7:19 / km) +223m 6:45 / km
shoes: Salomon Sense Ultra SG

Peak 2 peak- Wild Goose Chase version.
Goose had been away from orienteering and running for a while, and we ended up running together as it turned our our speeds and nav were about the same. Very enjoyable run, we both navigated well between 2 sets of eyes and we cleaned the course with 22 min to spare taking fairly conservative routes.
Good enough for 6 overall just behind Harps. Chad and Gally were 1 and 2, and we won Masters, narrowly followed by Long Sault Rob.
Great to see the Goose taking flight again.

We carpooled with Bash who was sporting an Ontario Champion medal on the way home.
