with adam down manchester road, up to the top of the coppice, then along bell hagg where we saw alex rothman plus my fam, and down to the bottom of the coppice, was really nice running downhill in the snow c:

really enjoyed it and didn't feel that unfit considering, even overtook a cyclist on one of the reps and felt like such a pro hahah :L i wouldn't have ever done it if adam hadn't pushed me to, but i'm so glad he did c:

went out, spiked the first 2 controls but seriously messed up 3, lost about 5 mins :L walking around a lot meant i got really cold and started coughing and i went to 4 but wasn't feeling it so jogged back slowly, went to the quarries though cause the contours looked good :L

visibility was soooooo bad, my headtorch just lit up the snow falling into my face so i could run better with it off :L but that meant i couldn't see my map/compass so i got lost :/

was in one of those moods where i thought a run would make me feel better so went out (first mistake) and then thought i'd go for a long slow run out to the coppice so it woudl take a while (second mistake) and i thought seeing as i'd be going at a steady pace i'd only wear a thermal and tshirt (third mistake)

got out, felt odd, walked back and got very cold. i guess if i catch alex's fever or some other nasty thing going round it's my own fault really... stupid stupid

was planning on an intensity 2 recovery jog but ended up at the bottom of a massive hill where i used to do my hill reps and had to go all the way up it again , calves were burning by the end of it :o
