Running 4:44:00 [3] 28.0 km (10:09 / km)

Run on Bruce Trail from Clappison's Corners to Cedar Springs Rd and back. Very sluggish on the way back in the hot weather and my body seems to prefer hiking over running.

Trek 5:00:00 [3] 18.0 km (16:40 / km)

Another day of course scouting with Storm and the bugs. He finally remarked after all these years......."ugh I don't want to put the CP THAT far in, I'm getting too old and don't want to clear it after". Don't worry racers, I think the CPs are plenty far in.

One interesting part was that we managed to lose each other along an ATV trail when Storm ran ahead to see if a new trail hit the road 400 m ahead. I trekked towards him but when I got to the road he wasn't there. I was really freaked out, called his name, no response. Did he go down the road? Which way? WTF? I ran back along the trail confused as hell and as it turns out he did hit the road and turn back, but snuck around a mud hole at the exact time as I went straight through it. He ran 1km down the trail away from me before figuring out what happened and turned back to meet me. Staying in sight and sound, hmmm good rule for scouting too!

Cycle 50:00 [3] 9.0 km (5:33 / km)

My front tire is taco-ed from UTE so I took my old 26er for the rugged 9K mtn bike section used for RockstAR. She felt so tiny, like a tricycle, compared to the 29er. Still, it was fun riding and average muddy/bike destroying conditions - as always.
