Paddle (Packrafting) 1:30:00 [3] 7.0 km (12:51 / km)
First time in the new Alpacka - fun paddle for DD and I on the Seguin River, mostly flat water and a few swifts, and a tad bit of rapids, probably just class 1 in one spot just to test things out. The raft handled great, very stable and was not at all scary bouncing off rocks here and there. This is a huge relief and I'm so glad I have my own raft now, and don't have to squeeze into a teammates crotch for a long section at UTE! Reeder's NRS is not built for flatwater so he had to work 10x harder than us. We will need to plan for this in our route selection!
