Fat biking with old friends at Horseshoe. Funderstorm and Amber did a solid job packing it down yesterday! Unfortunately there is only 8k of trails where fat bikes are allowed. Winter boots with toe warmers worked well at keeping the feet warm.
Road run up and down the escarpment and home again....oh so cold...that will do Donkey, that will do.

Night hike with old friends at Mohawk on the fat bike trail. Fireball shots up on the big rock and back to Mohawk Chophouse....should have invited Funderstorm!!!
20 min road run with Scout who had me on a good firm and speedy tow. Switch to Contour who put the jets on for 10 minutes then wanted to spend the rest of the time sniffing. Glad that’s over!! Brrrrrrr
With the big snow and fierce west winds, I decided that road running with the wind at my back would be a good bet and it was indeed. Parked the car in Campbellford and ran home up and over the escarpment.
Serene Christmas eve family trot on the fat bike trail at HAFTA. We found it hard to follow the markings and turned back early. We can't wait to try it on fat bikes!
Storm escorted me to the front door exactly 2 hrs before dark and sent me off.....I took a mixed terrain route into Rattlesnake and Kelso, with a bit of trail blazing and following some coyote tracks.
Run with Bash at Silvercreek CA with Scout for 50% of the time I felt the need to pawn her off on Bent after we met up with the boys at a road junction. It was cold and snowy and I'm afraid that winter is finally on our doorstep.
