Shadowing mum round blue. Some very questionable orienteering from her, particularly with just going to circle which doesnt work when controls arent there.

Run with tamsin. Garmin froze so estimates. we both got very numb feet after crossing a few streams so maade it short.

Southampton Urban. Good sprint training i guess, but looking fforward to longer courses. Holding something back for tomorrow. Lost most time on way to finish.

Wingate Anaerobic test. Minute of 60 rpm with no weight.

30secs as hard as possible with weight increasing so that by the end it's seriously hard just to turn the pedals. Really really tough. Legs very wobbly after.

"1km" race with hill. Kept up with Graham Gristwood for the first half but then died.

Relocation excercise lead by Graham Gristwood with Harry, Hannah, Tamsin and Michael. Basically we didn't have maps and Graham would run around randomly trying to disorientate us and then drop us all off in different parts and tell us where to meet everyone. Did quite well apart from one of them i thought he had pointed to a different depression to the one he had so basically ran to all the near depressions but found them eventually.

Head to head vs Harry. Started off well but a bad routechoice to 10 when i couldnt find a gap through the rhodedendrons and he got away. Later found out that he hadnt gone to both of the butterfly loop controls so I can claim the moral victory.

Clock relay. Did two of them but then the guy i was with took forever so I went out to find him.

Terrain "1km". In the lead to start with but then one of the controls wasn't there so the whole of the train caught up. Lost motivation there really but still tried to push.

Note

6mins at 10kph then 6 at 12 then 6 at 14. (with a 1% incline) The last minute of each was when data was taken. Wierd running with an oxygen mask and harness.

Tests tomorrow then scoa on Thursday then tests again friday so thought I should probably rest.
