Realised on the way to 1 this was my sort of area (thigh deep bilberries). Lost around 2.30. Lost a minute in the circles at 1 (10s), 2 (20s), 6 (10s), 8 (15s), 11 (10s). Not cutting corners 3 (10s), 7 (10s). Cutting corners when shouldn't have 6 (40s), 7 (10s), 9 (20s). Training on Wednesday made a big difference physically and felt freed up to push harder especially over last 2k. Enjoyed the course (looked better than most), as time could be lost/gained on micro route choices within legs, good number of low visibility control sites and a decent long leg with a technical best route choice.
Pleased, target was 9 min/k, but it was tougher than expected (60m more climb than details), so would have been happy with 59 mins.
