Carol's Fat Ass run from Eric's w him, new friends Jen & Tommy, and Erl. what a great group! i loved chatting w everyone and we had a great flow. pace was fine except i fizzled out the last 2ish miles, 10 miles is pretty long for me at the moment but shuffled thru and enjoyed some gourmet brownies!! a great morning.

Kirkwood Night-O, 45min score format. ran w T and Erl, starting w T is always a challenge bc she hates to be behind anyone. my nav at the start was a bit frazzled too. but once we got to our 5th or 6th control (R), there was a creek w a nice swimming hole for T so we took a chill pill and let her soak a bit. that helped me with a reset also and we ticked off the rest of the points just fine. in the middle section I didn't think we could clear, but towards the end i thought we miiiight just have enough time, and we snuck in w 30 seconds to go! fun night.
