adventure run w Erl at Rockwoods Reservation. i have actually never run most of the trails in this park, aside from Green Rock. first we went to Turkey Ridge on the east side of 109, it was sooooo nice! then Lime Kiln, Trail Among the Trees, Rock Quarry, and then a little bit more on the north side of the road. the whole time we were just discovering cool things like caves and rocks and nature. super hot out, shorts and top were soaked by the end.

charity 5K...Run 4 Rescued Retrievers! it was so fun. such a great, low-key, grassroots 5K. this is where endurance sports begin for many folks and it was refreshing to participate. 2 swims for T on course, plus a long one afterwards. hot for these furry pups!! she also drank from a cup at the water station. such a princess.

met David, Mary, Jeff, and Carrie for a little MTB action. Al Foster, some of CW flats w the group, then we split and Jeff/Carrie/Erl and I rode Zombie, including all of the new stuff, then Bluff View, then the new connector back to the AF. hot out but nice to ride w friends.
