An EZ long snowy trail run at Hartley with 2x GPS to try and get some data for Ian's map. Walked a lot to match up the map and also keep HR down. Hands turned into stumps when the clouds rolled in. A fun second snow run of the season!

Run 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureGrit M7.5

Turkey Burner run. I forgot the ONE THING that would allow me to participate on a borrowed bike from Peter: pedals. Duh!!!!!! So I had to scramble a little bit (thanks mom for helping) and missed the first bike section while visiting a surprisingly dead walmart to get some platforms. Met the group at the TA and joined for a fun snowy trail jog.
11 AM

Bike 3:00:00 [3] 25.0 mi (8.3 mph)

Turkey Burner bike. Guessing on time? Every single one of these miles was earned with some tough conditions: mid-20s and screaming winds that we biked INTO the whole way on this point-to-point route. But good company makes bad conditions completely bearable and I was lucky to have some of the best!! Got to catch up with all my MNOC buddies and even make some new friends. Fun! Followed by one of the most delicious hamburgers I have ever eaten.

Run 1:20:00 [2] 6.0 mi (13:20 / mi)
ahr:140 shoes: Brooks Racer ST U8 I

Various EZ running to the race from my house, after the race with my family as they were finishing the 2mi walk, then to the awards ceremony, then back to my house carrying a pumpkin pie. Counting today as 2 runs so I'm back on track with 30runs30days since i skipped the day I flew to SanFran.
9 AM

Run race 19:53 [5] 5.0 km (3:59 / km)
ahr:188 shoes: Brooks Racer ST U8 I

Holy PR! wasn't quite sure what sort of effort I could muster for this but on the jog down to the start line I decided to go for it, and ran mostly by feel. Splits were 6:20 and 6:40 for the first two miles and then I didn't check my watch after that. Perfect weather, super flat/fast course, and no excuses. Super stoked to have this strong of a race off of almost no run speed work (although HR gets up high on the bike sometimes). 15th overall female.

EZ. feeling a little off/flushed.

Bike 2:00:00 [3] 17.0 mi (8.5 mph)

remembered HR strap but not garmin so guessing on time/distance. 1 full loop of LV plus the upper singletrack twice more, with HH and RK all on SS! easy pace and was able to focus on riding smooth over all those babyheads.
