Road Running race (Half Marathon) 1:37:30 [5] 21.4 km (4:33 / km)

Reading Half Marathon!

Sooo basically my friend at work is injured so on Monday decided to give her place to me. Madly agreed to it despite not training properly for months. Anyway just wanted to have fun and cruise round it and I did. Had SO much fun it was amazing. There was so much support from spectators too. You had kids wanting you to high 5 you or give you packets of haribo, people offering jelly babies, fruit, water, lucozade..just amazing! I thought it was only 20km though so pushed it on too fast at 15km, so started a 1km early, whoops. Suffered at the end hit the wall bad. At 8km round my shorts started to chaffing baaaad! By the end I was bleeding on both legs, really hurt. Waddling round now. Did 10km in 46mins so it was ok considering everything. Really want to do it next year and do some more this year. Hopefully do London or New York Marathon next year :D

Went for a run after work on Barrossa. Lovely day and really enjoyed the run :)

Doing a 62hr week and had the afternoon off and finally could enjoy some sun. Went for a pub lunch, then saw a sports therapist and then went to Coral Reef for a fun swim and to health suite :)

After work again. Easy on Barrossa, visited a stream to cool down in! I actually got a really bad tummy ache as only had my lunch an hour before and needed to eat as hadnt had breakie..
