Westchester Challenge/Sr. Team Trials Long, Blue M21
I should write more about this but for the time being, super super fun!! First A-meet blue and met my goal of being not on the bottom. Really close, but still not. The woods were great, legs interesting, and weather spectacular. One error at control 17; this seemed straightforward so the botch was very frustrating. It seems I was a bit low in the blow-down area and I wandered into 10 min of error before coming to the small reentrant. I was much more careful on the next two, stemming any large gaffs. Didn't make as good a route choice as I should have for the 2nd long leg. I think going to the trails and road and running around would have been most efficient.
Lessons: I should be more confident at the ends of legs and I should put some effort into arm-chair for route choices. I am too slow at choosing and still frequently miss the best option.

Super fun relay reuniting Team pICO Bunny! Much more on the ball today until the last two controls where the pace subsumed my brain. Should have attacked off the trail on control 15 and used the rock walls more sensibly to the go (I don't understand what I was thinking for the last). ICO was 6th in the club champs.
