Boys Race at Center Park - only it wasn't...

The race started and as the race came back around the soccer and field and down toward the starting line a flash of lightning was quickly followed by thunder and the race was immediately halted. Sent the kids to the bus while we discussed possibilities.

Decided to wait to see if we could still get the meet in by waiting the required time, then starting the girls 2 minutes after the boys and cutting out the wooded hill loops both on the way out and on the way back.

Finally got the boys race restarted at 6:25 and the girls went off at 6:27 (well, 6:27:03). Fairport dominated both races, as expected, but our boys handled Hilton as well as Olympia/Odyssey for a 2-1 day, while the girls fell to Hilton due to very large gaps from 2-3 and 3-4.
