ROC 1-person relay at Basil Marella.
Tyler gave us a good reason to skip going over to the Bills preseason game by setting up a nice course for Basil Marella. It was a loop with 3 forks, and up to 8 people started at a time. I went with Zach and Luke and we all had the same first fork, but I lost sight of them on the way to C2. Legs were still heavy from Monday's race, so I was limited. Zach won by several minutes as Luke had a couple of tough controls.
Low-light was getting hit by a disc golf "drive"; I have quite the bruise on my upper left thigh. No "fore" from the golfers so I never saw the disc until it hit me.

Another Mud Run is in the books; somehow I managed to win my first mug, probably since 2010, despite my slow time! I was 41 seconds faster than 2 years ago and only 47 seconds slower than before the first surgery (but I was 26:22 in 2010). John defended his title. PJ passed me in the second patch of woods, but I went by him and another guy with a surge on the last part of the first hill, and was able to pull away. I had two more targets the rest of the way which kept me focused. Passed the woman that must have missed her start just past the second hill, then went by a guy by running fairly fast on the level ground between the first two reentrants on the way back.
Luke was about a minute ahead of Z (who finished just behind Mick). Walt was over 4 minutes faster than last year, and beat someone, as he continues to be the oldest participant.

Plan was a nice bike ride down to Bushnells Basin for some ice cream via Pittsford, then returning via Fairport. But the marsh Road bridge is out so I couldn't get across the canal. luckily there was water in Pittsford and at the Fairport crew Lodge.
Today's whine is that my left heel is sore - no problem biking but sore when walking.

After the thunderstorm came through, it seemed cooler, so I decided to run now, rather than later. But the sun came back down and the hills of Lincoln Park took their toll, so I was pretty worn out at the end.
After the run I was down 7.4 lbs from before swimming, so I have some hydrating to do.
