The captains were in charge of helping with the workout, which was nice because it meant I pretty much didn't have to do it. Did a bit of light running at the beginning and end setting up cones but that's about it, so it actually worked out pretty well as a pre-race day before the sprint Fri
speed workout: mile, 6min rest, 2x800 w/4min rest in between, 2x400. Mile was ok, second 800 was difficult, 400's were awful... I am really not used to that type of speed
Orienteering at Norwottuck. Had a cross country workout the next day so I kept the pace slow and really focused on map reading-which I definitely had trouble with last week. Had trouble w/#3 (control on the edge of a hillside) because I wasn't reading contours well and didn't have a good attackpoint. Other than that, found everything ok
