XC at Newton South. Actually went really well, I wish it had been a full 5K because I might have PR'd. The course itself wasn't great, 3 track loops and the rest around their fields, but it was really fast and no hills so that was nice. Didn't feel very good before the race but felt fine once I started. First mile 6:30.
Really, really, really easy day... basically just warmed up, stretched, did a few strides and then I was done. Trying a new strategy to see if barely running at all the day before a race helps or hurts me because my legs have just been feeling really tired lately
