Managed to do a Brown Course today, after a few hours of work this morning. (All is ready! Now it's maintain mode.)

Brown because I'm pretty tired and unable to concentrate.

Did okay! Was easy to see where the first two controls were before I even went, so that was helpful. #9 I had to backtrack a little because I came out of the woods to the power line and ran north instead of south...should have counted the poles duh duh duh....

Otherwise a nice easy confidence boosting day to start my week off right!

It's insane here at work. yesterday when i got home, i laid down in child's pose to stretch my back...and i couldn't get up. i stayed there for 10 minutes.

Walked 4 miles while at work today. Did some repotting, weeding, watering, etc; Got the shop ready, it's sparkling clean, the containers are clean and organized. I filled 20 large square buckets with water and floral food for tomorrow's delivery. At the last minute I added a few extra, locally grown flowers to the list. White and Blue Nigella!! (Also called Love-In-A -Mist).

So far I've raised $200 - thanks to those who donated so far!

Just for the week before the Open, I'm logging my miles walked everyday as I do my job at Merion as part of this fundraiser to help those in Oklahoma:(my employer Merion Golf Club set this up)

Walked 4.5 miles. (not going to log hours/miles here...they should not count towards training.) Wow I can't believe I went this far today! That's not even counting the first hour of work before I found out about the fundraiser. My miles are nothing compared to some of the guys here at Merion who mow the greens. One of them walked 17 miles yesterday!

This could explain why I am pretty tired when I get home!
