Busse Woods and a course set by no other than Rich Gaylord himself. Excellent use of the area and he probably did map updates the whole time he was planing the courses.
Fast times were coming in from earlier runners and also lots of burrs on the clothes.
This map is flat as a pancake...navigation was mostly pace count and compass..oh and bounce off the marshes. The woods were actually white which was a change from last weeks meet. Lots of low logs and whatnot to trip you up if I was not carefull.
Fun time, great running weather and as usual, good beer and food found at a brew pub after.

small first time race near my house. Rochester 5K
Ha I took third overall and there was this one women who I have seen at races for years and she is good. She was 4th.
Time was a bit slow. Ok next week there is a great fast 5k.
Howl at the Moon. 17 th annual run. I am sure I have done at least 15 of these since it is the Kenosha Running Club and I do know a few of those folks. Left company at my house and was back in 1:18 from house to race to back home. Out to eat at the best resturtant in Kenosha...had whole trout that was undercooked I thought...and ready to relax. Great temps for everything!
Oh and this was the exact time I ran a week or so ago, so maintaining with no speed improvement.
