XC-Skiing 1:39:00 [3] 15.5 km (6:23 / km)

Eldora Co for a high altitude ski. It was pretty slow and tiring. Hopefully it will get easier tomorow and the next couple of days.

Orienteering Meet race 51:38 [5] *** 5.7 km (9:04 / km) +150m 8:00 / km
spiked:12/16c shoes: Icebug black 2

Day 2 and it was going well until my glasses fogged up going to 11 and my time went downhill. That is the only excuse I have for the last part of th race where my time slowed down big.
Overall the rain held off, the temps were perfect for running. As the same as yesterday the park is not the most technical area for O, but the courses both days were great.
Enjoyable weekend of O and friends about.

Orienteering Meet race 46:46 [5] ** 5.4 km (8:40 / km) +150m 7:36 / km
shoes: Icebug black 2

Shawnee Mission Park, KC...Fun run, a bit too quick, not the most techinal area, but if it's too easy you have to go like hell. One mistake going to 13 where I took the wrong trail and saw the start area and just eased down the h I'll too the control. Probably 1-1.5 minutes in mistakes mostly because of that. So far first I'm my new age group, Superfast was 2nd and 38 seconds back from me. The rain held off yea!

Shawnee Mission Park..Model event
I just ran it, not too hard, the ground had some cold wet snow..Fairly easy controls, no problems and fun to be out on a map running. Lots of familar faces and friends.

XC-Skiing 1:00:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:00 / km)

After I groomed Parkside yesterday, it was c- at best due to the unevenness and foot traffic...and just needed to be groomed again...but not with these warm temps and rain coming. The classic tracks looked great though.
Maybe last ski with Wik as he head to the Bear Chase this weekend. if the temps hold somewhat there can still be good skiing next week here.

Running 37:58 [2] 3.9 mi (9:44 / mi) +2m 9:43 / mi

My 4 mile route from home, looks like 3.9 mile. I just wonder if the garmin just comes up a bit short. Everyone's gps at the birkie only showed 49 something.

Did not feel too bad running, as it is somewhat different exercise then skiing.
