Note

Vaccine #1 today, meant to get out for a run before my appointment, but couldn't get everyone moving in time.

Dropped down to beige today, since I wasn't sure how much my foot would be able to take, and seems like this was the perfect length for me today. Foot felt pretty good all day- I definitely need to keep wearing my Salomons, and either find a better insole/metatarsal pad solution for my inov-8s, or just shelve them for a while. With my foot feeling better, my calves decided I'd ignored them long enough, and started tightening up the usual 20 minutes in. So that was annoying, but manageable. Hips started getting really tight on the last climb, too. Ahh, the joys of getting older and being out of shape.

Nice out today! Wore shorts and a long sleeved jersey, and at first I thought I'd be a little warm, but then as I was coming around the golf course, the wind suddenly got very cold. Legs felt more peppy than I was expecting, but my foot was a little twingy. Not really painful, but noticeable.
