Hills have been a struggle over the past few weeks so down to LC park, along riverside track to Porters Creek and back via Tunks Hill. Very humid for winter.

Charles Sturt Uni - course 4 (M55)
Started of with 6 bush controls of the granite hill side to the west of the uni, the first 5 of which weren't too bad compared to some courses as they were close to the track, there something funny with the downhill leg to 6 as the white seemed to extend further than mapped. As with most people I was caught out by the bridge at 6 where I was only the lower path. Bit of a dither a 18 where I couldn't find the control as it was hidden around a corner. Couldn't work out the blue taped route down to the final control so ended up running around the red & white tape which was markeding the OOB. Thanks to Greg mispunching ended up 3rd overall, same as Ewan who also did a Steven Bradbury as both Alvin & Jensen mispunched on his course.

Orienteering race (QB3 day 2) 1:00:37 [3] 7.77 km (7:48 / km)
shoes: Inov8 212 (blue & orange)

Burngoogee - course 7 (M55)
Not sure what I was doing at 2 as my head wasn't together and I just wandered in the wrong direction despite taking a bearing. Overshot 4, a classic diagonally downhill leg, and ended up in the open area to the south near 5. Took the 'very' obvious track route to 6 and punched it before Warren Key who ran through me a 4 (he went direct!) when I was bumbling around. For some reason missed the diagonal track from 6 to 7 and ran two sides of a triangle probably losing a decent amount of time. Strugglede on the hike up to 10 (lack of fitness). Ewan had bragging rights today given my stupid time loss on 7.
