Orienteering race (NSW Long Champs) 47:09 [4] 7.23 km (6:31 / km)

Gardens of Stone - M50 (Hard 5)
Missed my start as I had Ewan's time stuck in my head. Luckily there was a slot 2 mins later which I took without any penalty (thanks Rosco). Needless to say I made a hash of the first control, too high and overshot. Things went a lot smoother after that even managing to nail the long, vague leg between the mines. Finished up 2nd overall after Undy.

Orienteering race (NSW Sprint Champs) 16:24 [4] 3.11 km (5:16 / km)

Zig-Zag (Lithgow High School & TAFE) - M50 (course 4)
Legs not really feeling up to this after traipsing around the forest for nearly 3 hours beforehand. No significant time loses but three minor ones; a bit of a dither leaving 3 working out the best route to 4, too far west on the rocks at 10 and 17 where I initially stayed at the same level rather than going up. Third place after Mike B and Jemery Day. Would have hoped for better with fresher legs.

Orienteering (Control checking (cont.)) 50:53 [1] 3.58 km (14:13 / km)

And more.

Dunn's Swamp
Jock's junior training camp, good fun amongst the rocks.

Orienteering race (Dungeree Challenge) 25:21 [4] 4.28 km (5:55 / km)

Dungeree Forest. EOD short.
Good, fun courses by Toby with the scale (1:15000) and the non-white white catching many people out. No surprisingly I was fastest on the short course but no other options for EOD (serves me right for not pre-entering). Overall the juniors did a great job organising the event.

Orienteering race (Easter Day 3) 1:11:38 [3] 6.77 km (10:35 / km)

Cherry Farm - M50 (course 9)
Even after dithering at the start still didn't see the road route to the east. Took the direct, hilly fence route which, for the leg itself wasn't too bad, but felt it as the course went on as I got slower and slower. Big time lose at 5 which a lot of people saw on the way to 4. The slide continued and finished 15th on the day, 10th overall for the 3 days.
