Orienteering warm up/down 5:50 [2] 1.21 km (4:49 / km)

Managed to get a lift to Balmain so just had to jog down the hill to the event.

Orienteering race (Sydney Sprint Series) 19:46 [4] 3.62 km (5:28 / km)

Mort Bay Dock
Body not feeling the love tonight with niggles in the lower back (again) and right calf (still). Took the longer rourte to 2 as I didn't see the gap in the fence until it was too late. Patrik caught me at 9 and we both overshot the path to 10. The worst was at 15 where I totally lost contact with the map and couldn't work out where I should be for well over a minute. Over 4 mins down on Brooner who impressively won even after doing the Minigaine yesterday - oh to be 20 years younger!

Update: Lost 8 places on 15 dropping from 9th to 17th then managed to claw 2 places back on the last control.
