Made a 180 to run across a green rocky slope the one way. When I realised what I'd done, I broke.

Will wear backpack tomorrow and carry water if it's anything like today when I start.

Easter day 1 - Noah's Ark Ridge.
Positives: body OK, got all the controls
Was nowhere near cautious enough in terms of navigating many of the many legs, losing contact and often struggling to relocate.
Cleanish 1-4. Had to attack #5 multiple times, suspect I was close early but not confident. #6 couldn't find control in the circle. Think I was Ok 7-10. Nightmare at #11, just a bit too high, this was the control visible from the pre-start where I'd seen people too high. OK through to #16 where I never saw the earth bank until I'd gone way down the hill and turned back. Attacked a bit early for #19.

Hopefully knocked some rust off.

Family relay sprint CSU Orange.

Switched off twice when I should have been navigating to the tiny gap in a line of buildings. Didn't thrash myself.

Starting some fix-up prior to ML event here.

That rock is so complex, I can't believe that some fool must have spent a week just mapping that one slope.
