NSW Middle Distance Champs - Giant

Very fast rocky granite on the edge of the 91 Giant map. Fast but a bit hesitant out of the start - #2 was so easy I thought it wasn't ours, then over thought the leg to #4. Then good through to near the end, really forcing myself to run up the hills hard. Lost a little on penultimate two controls, just oxygen debt on penultimate one I think.

Pretty pleased to win 55, beat all the others (40-55) except Jock (running M45) and winner of M40.

Highland Forest Series - Stingray Swamp

After yesterdays failure to get to the event, happy to go down south for this. Started slowly and didn't really push myself until #3-#4. Coupled with deliberately taking the forest option this slowed me down for the first 3 (I missed #2 a bit too). GPS is on from #3

After that a clean run, I started to see Shingo at #12, he probably lost a lot of time at #8 (as well as #1)
