orienteering race 1:01:59 [3] 7.2 km (8:37 / km) +160m 7:45 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (#4 - blue)

SL at Belanglo.
Leg 2-3 was (on the map) a fairly straightforward cross slope run of about 500m. In reality it was all slow or walk and I made it worse by going a bit low and making the leg longer. Lost time here to everyone and never made it up.

Hammies sore.

run 25:00 [3] 3.0 km (8:20 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 1000 #3

Shadow Lyra round V Easy course. Two mistakes - ran past control that wasn't visible from track and poor route choice from last control.

Note
(injured)

Got some diagnosis and exercises from Paula for hammstring pain. Will now be an unstoppable force.

NSW middle distance Appin.
Messy - very fine rock detail and a few bingo controls. Lost about 7 minutes all up, mainly my own fault.

Hamstrings painful for whole course.

Hammys sore, managed to turn watch off. Arrowing in towards a weekend of bad O performances which usually primes me to go OK the following week.

cycling 50:00 [3] 15.38 km (3:15 / km) +110m 3:08 / km

Came very close to being car doored on West St in traffic. Luckily car behind me to right must have reacted quickly so I didn't get hit by him as I swerved.

The guy behind me told me that the tradie never ever even saw me. Not sure how close it was, but the shock made me almost throw up, so pretty close.
