Restrained myself as it became obvious that I was going to have to not run for at least one day to let my inner thighs recover from skiing for so long the first time of the season.
Rock Climbing (indoor) 16:00 [5] 0.02 km (13:20:00 / km)
Climbing gym with some friends, counting only an estimate of the time spent actually climbing the four climbs I did. Indoor rock climbing must be just about the least impressive, in Attackpoint terms, form of exercise on the planet. At least outdoors you usually have to climb up to the crag.
North along the Rideau Canal from Mooney's Bay, around Dow's Lake and back. Somewhere around threshhold except in the Experimental Farm Arboretum since it's very hard to run quickly on trails consisting of solid wet ice. No snow accumulation worth mentioning.
Quick nip out to finish my shopping. The rain was doing an even better job polishing off the snow than I'd expected. I fear snow tomorrow and Friday won't suffice to make Gatineau Park worth skiing in.
Long and flat, downstream to the end of the Rideau River and back (I'm in Ottawa). There was adequate snow and rain predicted over the next two days so I decided to ski while I still could, even if that meant settling for doing it in town instead of in Gatineau Park.
