Round trip just to the Freer where I watched a somewhat edited version of the early 1980s Shaw Brothers film, Five Element Ninjas, with live hip hop musical accompaniment by a group (collective?) called Hop Fu. Apparently, they'll be in Toronto in a couple of weeks so I highly recommend it to anyone in that area.
Work commute plus round trip to the Freer Gallery to see Jackie Chan's first, Yuen Wo Ping-directed, stab at playing Wong Fei Hung (though the subtitles were transliterating his family name as Huang - not sure whether that's normal for transliterating from Cantonese at the time but I've never seen it that way before).
To work. Home by way of the Silver Spring TPSS. Might have gone for a swim but the chance of continuing thunderstorms after the massive late afternoon one dissuaded me.
