Orienteering race 1:06:45 [5] 6.9 km (9:40 / km) +220m 8:21 / km
shoes: Inov8 Oroc
WMOC B Final
Problem at start again. Went over a small ride without realising and found myself in front of veg boundary. Worked it out and set off in right direction only for the right contact lens to come out.
Luckily managed to catch it and reinsert. Just over a minute lost there. Suspect route choice to four also an error as should have gone straight but instead chose to play safe. Unfortunately I am not fast enough on tracks and paths to make that route choice pay.

LQ2 at WMOC
Error at start. Left OK but then came across track which threw me. No track after start on map. Eventually realised that I hadn't reached start triangle and that track was before start triangle. Was 36th on leg one and 30th overall
Frustratingly just missed A final as 22nd overall (needed to be in 20th)

Orienteering race 1:19:38 [5] ***** 7.3 km (10:55 / km) +195m 9:37 / km
spiked:15/20c shoes: Inov8 Oroc
LQ1 M50 -1 course Easy area to begin with then went into Green area with many boulders and brashings. Took safe route choice to 4 round paths (later found Claire Ward took similar route though Sarah R went straight). Missed 7 went too far left and high and relocated off tower beyond control. Lost about 3 mins on that one control. However went round path to 10 and beat Mark Saunders on that leg by almost 2 mins 24/ 69

B Sprint final. Too slow to No.1 and overshoot control (just ran past it without seeing it) no 1. Lost 20 secs on that one control 10th Overall on B

spiked:16/18c shoes: flite 230
M50 - 2 Course
Qualifying WMOC sprint round Bad Harzbrug. Hesitant form start as 1 was so close but then no errors. Possible route choice error at 14 - 15 which cost ten seconds and 16 five seconds
Just two places (14 seconds) outside of qualifying for A
