Mountain Bike 1:30:00 [4] 30.0 km (3:00 / km)

As it was a day off for me today I decided to ride my bike into Alchemy and go to the workout at 9 am this morning. I took a very similar route as last time. I took Fiddlers Green out to Book and then to Southcote that takes me to the trails by Chedoke Golf Course. It's amazing how the perception of distance is sooo different from reality. It took my 25 min longer then I had estimated. Great ride! The trees are really pretty right now. I didn't come across very much traffic. I was a little nervous of FiddlersGreen but today was monday so the church traffic wasn't using it today. Sundays can be pretty brutal along there.

crossfit 26:42 [5]

When I arrived at Alchemy I was totally blown away by the amount of people there! I was late and everyone was well into their warmup. Considering I had just been riding for 1.5hours I didn't mind missing out on that one. I had to go in and change as I was pretty wet and mud splattered from the ride. When I looked a tthe white board my jaw dropped! I actually asked Adam if I could scale it back as I had already put in a pretty good workout. He started to laugh and said "No" :) it isn't as hard as you think....
WOD
3000 m row
400 wall balls
300 pushups
200 HK2E (Hanging Knees to Elbows)

He broke us up into groups of 3. Collectively we had to complete the workout. Not as bad as it originally looked but still pretty brutal! I had an incredible team with 2 amazingly strong ladies joining me. We were the first ones completed in aroung 26:42, It was awesome!

Mountain Bike 1:00:00 [3] 23.0 km (2:37 / km)

Unfortunately I had to work today, but I did manage to get off in time to bike to Dundas Valley in time to see my fabulous kids finish their last races of the day at GLOF. Justin placed 2nd in the sprint under 16. Rachael may have placed in the 2nd race however we had prior commitments to be at so we didn't get to stay for the awards. I guess she will find out next week. I am very proud of them and we do have a lot of fun together as a family!

Trail Run 2:00:00 [2]

ARK coaching for the first hour helping out with fun interval relay races and then pretty great core workout for the second half.
After the ARK I ran with ArK attack kids and orienteered through the map. Worked up a pretty good sweat but I would not categorize it as being hard training. Orienteering was good practise to get my head back into things!
