When will I learn how to sprint well? Still, pretty good run except for a 3+ minute error on 4 (didn't see the trail I planned to follow, and let that fluster me), and about a minute by drifting too far left on the long leg to 8, going up the wrong spur and not responding quickly to that. Yet correcting those errors would still leave me far behind others in my class. There is a lot more learning to do.

North Chagrin Score-O. Gorgeous, sunny, fall colors at peak, 53F, but recent rains made things a bit wet. Ran out of maps, but they made some b/w copies for those of us starting at 1. Got all but 4 controls, about like Stan. But I went 6 minutes over time, and so I lost to him by 1 point! Mostly a trail-running course, which probably explains why I could get that close to Stan.
