Green at Powder Mills Park.

My effort varied greatly. Ran on the flats and downhills. Walked the hills and anything with vegetation. Hip would cause pain any time I started climbing. Pulling the leg through vegetation hurts worse than climbing. It doesn't feel as bad as it did a few weeks ago. I tried to avoid roads and bridges which probably bumped my distance and time up a little.

I slowed significantly over the last 6 controls because that is when the elevation change and thick vegetation started.

Course was fun but a little short for my liking. I can't really see a way of making it longer or harder.

I went out on brown as quickly as I could to get in more distance.

Reverse of green with 10 controls removed and 2 short legs added in. This was really just mileage. Was still fun though. Took me longer than I wanted to get back out, but I needed water.

Wanted to go out on Orange but I ran out of time.

My first time racing here. I tried to stay in control as my hip is not close to 100%. At times I pushed too hard and then had to back off slowly and try to relax. I had time to pick up another control or two, but didn't want to risk a penalty.

Tied Dcady. After our first control we did the same route, but in opposite directions. We both cleared the south side and picked up one on the North side.

There were a ton of people here.

IMPORTANT!! The horses didn't like our maps. Hide them under your shirt or at least behind your back. I altered my route 3 times because there was one horse that was terrified of the map bags.
