Orienteering warm up/down (Hill Park Dale) 9:50 [3] 1.04 km (9:27 / km)

Orienteering race (Hill Park Dale H3) 1:45:03 [4] 8.75 km (12:00 / km)
ahr:138 max:176

Messy but nothing too diabolical early, happy to be staying in front of ShotRat for a while around 5,6,7.

Headed up the track between 10 and 11 instead of following Kellie who'd just gone past, so I ended up just missing the control and relocating off the fences as Dalto who'd been behind me at 10 came past. Should have just stuck to the fence.

Things went really bad at 13 and 14 took a couple of reloctions to get 13 and then missed 14 and had to try again from 13.

By the time I finished I couldn't be bothered going out again to do the sprint exercise, probably should have just done the H2.

Rogaining race (Old man emu 6hr) 5:53:00 [3] 30.5 km (11:34 / km)

After loosing Jim to a recurring rather than recovering injury, tagged along with Mr Rogaine and Chip Lundstrum.

Planned a course of about 31.5km which we all thought was achievable.

Unfortunately lost a heap of time at our second control as we had a few passes trying to get 64 without success. Got to the 5km mark already about 15mins behind 5km/hr pace. Maintained that deficit until the halfway mark at which time it became apparent that we'd toasted Mr Rogaine.

Our course lost all optimisation from there as we took the track from 92 to get water at 55 (we'd hoped to avoid having to go to 55 as it dropped a bunch of points off our course, and then when we got there it was dry so wasted time going there) from there we plodded round to salvage what points we could and had another crack at 64 since there wasn't anything else on the way back in, it still wasn't in the right place but.

Got Mr Rogaine going again for the final run down the track back to the HH and he set a pretty good pace most of the way (we didn't want to get chicked).

Running (Kings Park) 31:39 [3] 5.9 km (5:22 / km)
ahr:155

Light easy run to try to stay loose for tomorrow.

Pity I don't have a team for the rogaine at the moment, since Jim pulled out injured last night.

Surely there's someone else around who wants to keep team triffy (jucky?) on their toes.

Road Bike (Kelmscott Hills) 1:02:31 [3] 25.04 km (24.0 kph)
ahr:161

Random ride from Ryan's kindy, randomly hunting for hills. Found burnt out houses, demolition in progress and eventually went up a gated off road that turned out to be a real monster. Eventually found myself on Canning Mills Rd and putted down Mills Rd and eventually got back to kindy just in time.

Running (Geraldton medium) 57:52 [3] 1106.0 km (3 / km)
ahr:156

Medium length run around Geraldton. Started wondering why anyone there would need to ride a bike when you can run around most of the town in an hour. Made it up to the Sydney memorial. On the way back, passing a pub there was someone looking somewhat passed out on the footpath, then as a I ran past I noticed he was actually working on something with his arms down an access pit, talk about incorrect stereotyping.
