Ottawa O-Fest Saturday. I felt pretty good, but I lost a combined total of eight minutes on two controls. Number three I was a bit off to the left, but thought I was more dead-on, so I lost a fair amount of time trying to relocate only to find I was about twenty or thirty meters away. The other mistake was on seven, and I actually reviewed this very closely and determined that the control was on the correct feature, but the feature was marked about forty meters farther north on the map than it was supposed to be, and I lost a lot of time wandering around in what should have been the center of the circle. Other than that I did fairly well, although it could have been a little faster. It was also raining quite a bit, but it turned out to be fabulous orienteering weather. I'm fairly happy with the day as a whole.

Catamount 5k. Ran really fast because the weather was great and I was feeling pretty good. I think I beat my best time by about 2 minutes as well.
