Orienteering - Forest - Race 55:10 [4] **** 8.84 km (6:14 / km) +97m 5:55 / km
spiked:14/17c
Open 7 long distance in a race south of Stockholm. Nice course design this time (as opposed to last year) with control picking in some super nice forests and then two long good route choice legs. Ran really well until approaching 13 after the second long leg. Were definitely more knolls in that area than the map show. Then a couple of small hooks in the last few controls. Nice competition against some former world champs ;)

Orienteering - Forest - Race 46:11 [4] 7.66 km (6:02 / km) +94m 5:41 / km
Night-O club champs at Ekensberg. Caught Alice at 2 after she made a hook there. She runs about my speed these days so was around her until 6. Fast guy Kasper caught us at 4. Got 6 first and decided to try a right route choice, but that turned out to be slower as I could see Alice light 30 sec ahead approaching 7. Then stopped to soon at the easy 9 where I struggled to read the 1:10 map. Got 10 really well and when punching 11 Alice came in from the wrong direction after she missed that one. Fun course with good route choices.
