I missed Wed. TOC at Sunnybrook, but I got the map emailed to me and wanted to get out Saturday morning. Igor has mapped new terrain on the West side of Sunnybrook Park, up around the hospital so I was looking forward to exploring up there. I biked up, locked my bike at the stables and headed out. For some unknown reason, I went to CP23 first instead of 1 so I made the gametime decision to do the course in reverse. I may go back and do it in order next time. Good fun as he looped me up a valley, then back around by the condos and Bloorview Rehab Hospital, then back around the west edge of Sunnybrook along Bayview. I especially liked the CP guarded by the headless statue. Around by McLean House and back down into the valley and over back to the stables. Great loop around unfamiliar territory.

My Specialized Epic blew it's brain out at Summer Solstice, so it was in for warrenty. The brain came back...and they found a hold in my frame so the frame went back for warranty. Finally picked it up Sunday and my white Epic is now a Black/Red Epic as they replaced the frame. Jasper came into town so we could do a quick loop in the Don to try it out. I had resurrected my old creaky Giant for MTB camp and RockstAR but it felt SO much better to be back on my main bike.
