Hiking 2:17:47 [1] 5.4 km (25:31 / km)

Mrs. W going for groceries so I got her to drop the kids and I just N of Eglinton, E of the DVP. We picked up the trails on the E side of the river and train tracks and worked our way S all the way home. Kids did really well - they love climbing the bike ladders/stunts someone has built. Great trails - only challenge was when it opened up and the weeds were overgrown. Had to put someone on my shoulders as it was too high for her. Still marvel at the wilderness we can find in the city.

Bike Commuting 31:32 [3] 10.41 km (19.8 kph)

A 6 yr old shoe emergency meant I was late leaving the school and hustled. Right up until the oblivious driver of the Hydro One truck turned across the dedicated bike lane at Lake Shore/Carlaw. I locked it up and screamed at him as he sped away. Fuming so I sent an email to Hydro One encouraging them to remind their drivers to share the road.

Bike Commuting 33:31 [3] 9.91 km (17.7 kph)

Trail Run 1:24:00 [1] 5.27 km (15:56 / km)

Mrs. W and the boy wanted to run, so I suggested a flat loop in Taylor Creek, with the girl riding her bike. We got to the end of the flat part and they wanted to explore the bike stunts, so we left the bike and hiked further along and tried all the ladders/ramps etc. on foot. Anything to get the family moving, right?
